The Cypress Lookout is gorgeous. The area is well keep with a lookout patio and a big lawn. The sunset from here is marvellous. The view is covered all Vancouver, Burnaby and Vancouver Island. When you enjoy the view, you can also get a coffee, a drink and pizza from the Shed Coffee and Bar there. If you go there at night, bring a warm coat. The washrooms are not enough. There are always line up since it has only 3 washrooms. Hopefully, City of West Vancouver can add some more washroom there. The washroom is clean.

Some of the most spectacular views one can get of Vancouver from the North Shore. The highrises of Downtown Vancouver jut up over the trees of Stanley Park, with the Lions Gate Bridge visible nearby. Tankers slowly and continuously move up and down Burrard Inlet. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the view is the fact that the Orchard Residence and the Gage Towers at UBC can be seen at the far end of Point Grey.

Cypress Lookout offers breathtaking panoramic views of Vancouver, the ocean, and surrounding mountains. It’s a perfect stop for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful, scenic escape. Easily accessible by car, with a short drive up Cypress Bowl Road, the lookout is well-maintained and free to visit. Sunset and twilight are especially magical times to go. It’s a must-visit spot.
