If you're looking for a beautiful spot to capture the perfect sunset photo, look no further than Trestle Bridge at the Mountain Path in West Vancouver. Located just a short drive from downtown Vancouver, this hidden gem offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding mountains.

The bridge itself is an architectural marvel, with intricate wooden details that make for stunning photos. But the real draw here is the view. As the sun sets over the water, the sky explodes into a spectrum of orange, pink, and purple hues that are nothing short of magical. You'll want to stay here for hours, capturing every angle and moment as the light changes.

The best part? This spot is relatively unknown, so you won't have to fight the crowds for the perfect shot. Whether you're a professional photographer or just someone who loves a good sunset, Trestle Bridge at the Mountain Path is a must-visit destination. Just be sure to bring your camera, because once you're here, you won't want to leave.

Overall, I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque place to capture...

A very underwhelming 2.5km trail from the pop up village to the trestle bridge and back. A wide gravel trail to start that later on is paved but without any view until you reach the trestle bridge. Also quite a bit of noise from the highway below. Compared to photos of the area a year or so ago it is now very much spoiled by construction going on immediately to the north of the trestle bridge. Trees have been clear cut and rock is being blasted for a future housing development so that eventually the trail will simply be part of an urban development. Posted opening times of 3pm for the trestle bridge are inaccurate as we had to wait an hour before construction finished and we were allowed access to the bridge at 4pm. Altogether very disappointing to see such desecration of what was previously a natural wooded area. Views from the pop up village are very similar to that at the bridge. We had no trouble parking at the pop up village mid afternoon on a weekday. Washrooms are also available...

Good easy walking trail. Hard to get a parking because the site is still under construction. It’s a short easy trail, some paths are already paved and half are not done but there’s pebbles which makes it easier to walk. There’s a short bridge with lights but we didn’t wait for sun down. The view’s great though. At the bottom of the trail is a pop up. There’s trailers that sells snacks and drinks and covered eating area. They have pop up washrooms too that’s clean. There’s also bikers area that they can wash their bikes.

Suggestion: make signs for bikers. I was taking photos on a small stream on the side of the trail and suddenly this rude biker yelled at me saying “you’re on bike trail” I don’t know if he realized he’s on a walking path when he saw a bunch of people walking. I’m not familiar with this trail but I saw a lot of people walking and he’s the only biker I saw on the walking trail. Btw I’ve seen lots of bikers in the pop up that didn’t go through...

Parking at the Chippendale entrance has been expanded. Spots for maybe 30+ vehicles. Easy to walk path. Entire path is either gravel, paved or trestle bridge. It is about 30 minutes from Chippendale to the pop up village. The trestle bridge is neat but very short. I would probably rate this path 4 stars if the bridge was at least double the length. There is lighting installed and a paved path from the Chippendale parking area until about half way down. At least a few sections of the path show a view of down the mountain but majority is obscured by trees. There is a restaurant with washrooms at the pop up village area. According to the sign there are plans to extend the current mountain path a substantial amount. The current path also has some incomplete construction. I look forward to see how it turns out after everything is completed. A little underwhelming in its current state. April 2022
