Very very lovely old church probably in the neighborhood of three hundred years old. If you're Catholic this it should be on your list of places to see. They actually had a mass going when we look into the place and I was disappointed because they were using speakers and amplifiers really took away from the ambience of the place. There was some sort of Monument to a cardinal or some hierarchy in the church and was a little odd for my taste. Again this is a recommended spot to visit

In general, the entire State of Zacatecas is a wonderful place, with its incredible tourist centers such as El Cerro de la Bufa, La Mina del Eden, just to mention a few, its interesting museums and its majestic Churches, each one built in a different style of impressive architecture typically colonial of the City of Zacatecas, highlighting among them the beautiful Cathedral, with a pride and very important meaning for the Zacatecans.
