One of the best shore Diving point on Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Located on North western part of Cayman's biggest island. Don't mix it with Turtle Farm or Turtle center! Turtle reef is an open water attraction 100m distance from the shore. (As locals call: Ironshore) Divers swimming out for night diving daily. When the wind direction is Northern or Northwestern and the speed of that is over 20 knots, it's not suggested to go out because of the big waves. On-site dive shop (Sun Divers) has air, weights, water, guides, shower, dunk tanks, etc. Convenient stairs lead down to the water behind the Macabuca bar.
Ignore the negative review(s) that reference captive turtles as they’re discussing the Turtle farm place down the road and not this wonderful dive site hidden behind the Cracked Conch.

Read moreLittle unclear how to find this place…you basically park at, and go through, the outdoor restaurant (Macabuca’s) and they have a little staircase to get into the water. Very nice snorkel spot (and good food too). Parking is a little tough is all (limited spots). The hours listed on Google here don’t seem to be correct either…I’d go by Macabuca’s hours (although I didn’t confirm with them if they restrict access at any times but it was “open” when Google said it...
