Parque Nacional Bernardo O'Higgins is a vast and remote area in southern Chile, part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. It’s known for its fjords, icebergs and glaciers. The latter include the huge Brüggen or Pio XI Glacier, and the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers. Puerto Edén village is home to a small population of indigenous Kawéskar people. The park’s diverse wildlife includes the endangered South Andean deer.
