Playa Cachagua — Attraction in undefined

A quiet beach only a few minutes from Maitencillo. It is easily accessible by car but not many buses go pass Maitencillo to drop passengers. This time we visited in early December but we've been in January and February when the weather is much warmer. In my opinion the water is always cold on the Pacific side. There are waves and you can catch surfers trying to catch a wave. You can take a walk down the beach and you will come across a little island where penguins live. It's a 3km long beach with very cold clear water. There are good waves for surfing and the bay is excellent to run barefoot at. The views include the coastal sierras and cliffs with big houses hanging from them, there is also an island filles with penguins and sea lions. I had a great time there. Playa nada inclusiva, no dejan el paso con mascotas, llevábamos a nuestra mascota de raza pequeña con correa, mostramos las bolsas que tenemos para recoger sus necesidades, explicamos que es el perro de soporte emocional de mi sobrina y aun así no nos permitieron la entrada de una forma prepotente, había una familia extranjera que estaba tratando de ingresar y tampoco les permitieron el paso por que llevaban una especie de cooler, sospechosamente mientras a ellos no les dejaban pasar, pasaron otras familias del sector con cooler e incluso carritos y no les dijeron nada. No explicaron mayores razones, y nos pedieron que nos fueramos de una forma prepotente, me parece increíblemente irrisorio que siendo 2025 no permitan el paso...
