The opera is just one part of a reconstruction the old city, and the whole area is fascinating. The delicate ornate buildings in a forest of brutalist communist era apartment blocks makes for some very interesting photographs. We were lucky to see a performance as we wandered around. At certain times every day there are live outdoor opera performances. Entrance was free of charge. I was there on a rainy day and the area in and around the museum was not crowded.
