An interesting area to witness Guangzhou's creativity. This centrally located area was formerly a series of "old style" factories. When better factories became available, it was abandoned for a few years. In 2009, it was decided to make it available to groups/people with "an "artistic/creative bent"... As such, it is a very interesting "Arts Zone", with an ambience of "wanna-be, trendy and vintage style"-- and is full of neat, enjoyable surprises! It seems that with the passing of time, it expands and new ventures appear due to the initiative and creativity of people/groups drawn to it!! In addition to small workshops/shoppes there are also some wonderful restaurants. In addition to the many opportunities for taking photos, its a great way to get a different feel about Guangzhou...
