This hotel is big and on a busy main road/dual carriageway, has plenty of shops on both sides like family mart and bakeries and banks. The lobby area is spacious and there is an Arab restaurant on the ground floor, and a Chinese restaurant on the 1st floor, there is also a shop on the ground floor for any of your needs, a sheesha bar and coffee place can also be found here. They also have a massage and spa service and a barbers shop (which i recommend nobody use). ||Well upon arrival for our 8 nights here, we went to the front desk, a wonderful young lady called Linda sorted my reservation out and quickly gave me the key card to my room. The room was spacious and very modern, there is a safe and room service is excellent and on point always, the bathroom is clean with a spacious shower. The room was on the thirteenth floor and the views were amazing. The cleaners/maids were very good and polite, would leave the room clean and replace everything that was used or not used (nothing ever went missing).||My colleague did go to the barbers/salon on the third floor, and they did not have the slightest clue on how to cut hair here, i sat there laughing at what they had done to my colleagues hair, i decided not to bother with my hair and just have it done at a professional place, after he paid half the price for the haircut i took him to a better place to rectify the damage that they had done lol. The spa and massage here is very good and you are well looked after with beverages and snacks if needed, just forget about the haircuts and beauty range.||The Arab restaurant could have been better (i absolutely enjoy Arab food), the food was bland and tasteless, the dessert however was amazing a semolina desert. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor was good but could have been better, the portions were big but lacked flavor (food across the street at moon carol restaurant, or from the family mart next to the hotel or local bakery is highly recommended).||Catching a taxi from outside the hotel is a nightmare so you have to move further down away from all the other people getting taxis and try to sneekely catch one, location is very bad.||I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a hassle free trip and a clean hotel. Will be staying here again...
Read moreI didn't stay at this perticular 5 star hotel but I stayed at another hotel near by. I went there because it was recommended to me for a Thai massage. The staff there was friendly and courteous. They helped me with the preparation for the massage ( changing clothes, getting a towel and putting your clothes in a locker etc) Little I knew they were THIEVES. Hours before I had gone to an ATM machine to withdraw money which I had put in my bag. Since everything was locked I didn't think much about it. After I left I went to my hotel. The following day at a restaurant as I went to pay I noticed that almost half of my money was missing. It was the attendant in the hotel that broke in my locker and took my money. So if you decide to go to this hotel to get a massage DONT PUT YOUR WALLET, MONEY OR CREDIT CARD ETC IN THE LOCKER. Or don't go at all. Go to another hotel but still be very cautious of...
