I haven't been to very many Chinese 'tourist' attractions before but this one seemed quite popular given the fact it is on the 20 yuan note. It's nicknamed the '20 yuan view' because that is the spot the artist picked to do the artwork that eventually ended up on the currency. Most people just come to this village for the day, mainly by boat, take some pictures and leave. We spend several days in the area and there are many walking paths and backroads to explore.
The limestone karsts are pretty amazing to look at and not far from this platform there is a karst you can climb but it is so big it can take a while and is always packed at sunset.
