I came to the Haikou Clock Tower only because it's a famous landmark that's near Qilou Old Street where I was visiting. A tower is still just a tower, clock or no clock. There's a plaque that tells the history and that's about all. As it's located next to the river, it's a nice stroll along the esplanade. I assume it'll be nicer when it's lighted up at night esp when it's cooler. Had to fight the traffic to cross the big Changdi...
