The security guy was very helpful and did this for me when I got to the security check. It is a nice place to go to in Spring and Autumn. You should take a book to sit down and relax at the cafeteria after looking at the different exhibitions. Check the bookstore, which has some books in English and some nice souvenirs. There are also two museum shops with nice stuff. If you have children there’s a nice big room for kids to draw, colour and play. Then, you can walk through the park to Leifeng Pagoda. I did this in a hot summer day but it was nice and relaxed. I called a cab but there are buses going nearby. Unfortunately I did not check their numbers.
