This place is a local shrine. 觀音, pronounced as Guan Yin in Mandarin, Gun Yam in Cantonese, is the Buddhist Queen of Heaven or Goddess of Mercy, known in English by the Sanskrit name Avalokiteshvara. It is not really a tourist attraction but worth a look if you are in the area.
