Butterfly Beach is a cute little beach in Montecito. It usually has small, calm waves and nice breezes. It sticks out into the ocean, which gives it great views of Santa Barbara to the West and Carpinteria to the East. There is a nice long sea wall with a stone railing, behind which there is a nice grassy area. These are great places to sit. There is also a ramp down to the sand, so access is easier than many nearby beaches. The Biltmore hotel is right across the street, giving easy access to a bathroom.
