This is an easy, family-friend nature trail located in the western section of the Lion Rock Country Park. It is around a 4km in distance. It is mostly flat and a relatively easy trail that merges with the MacLehose Trail Section #5 between the Kowloon Reservoir (at the southern end of the Kam Shan Country Park) and Beacon Hill.
The trail makes way through nice woodland. The part on the northern part of the mountain is serene and quiet, the southern side is quite noisy though, there is a big construction side close to it and it seems like it's going to be there for a while. The eagles nest nature trail is a good hike on its own but can be easily extended to a longer hike to beacon hill...
