Since I returned, it’s my first review inHK restaurant

I was attracted by its many positive comment online and decided to have lunch in this restaurant. However, it’s disappointed with its poor cleanliness and tasteless food here.

I ordered two main courses ( crispy belly beef in curry with rice and coconut chicken soup noodles ) and two snacks ( fried garlic butter chicken wings and Vietnamese rice paper roll with shrimps). For drinks, we had iced coconuts juice and drip coffee.

Firstly, we found there were some “overnight” rices on the bowl when we had our soup noodles, which is not clearly clean.

Second, when the foods come, it brought us much more disappointed. Especially the crispy belly beef in curry one , it’s very dry and over cooked, we can’t even chew it, the curry didn’t taste curry and not in smooth texture at all, we gave up the dish in the end. And the chicken wings, they put too much fried rice on it.

Overall, all foods and drinks are not GOOD as mentioned on social media. Quite disappointed about its...

After Sham Shui Po, I took on Cheung Sha Wan for my food hunting tour. Hidden on a quieter street near Lai Bo Garden, COSY is a Vietnamese restaurant famous for their chef, who worked in a hotel for making Vietnamese dishes before.

This Thai Boat Noodles is the only non-Vietnamese dish on the lunch menu. I know COSY is famous for their Vietnamese food, but I was craving for boat noodles. Guess I will have to visit again to try out their signature Vietnamese dishes and coffee.

The Thai Boat Noodles was lit! The broth was amazing, good to sip with the noodles without making you thirsty. The pieces of dried crunchy pork belly were addictively good! The toppings of beef and meatballs were very fresh and...

Hard to find Vietnamese cuisine in this area. This is a very homey, small shop but food is good quality relative to its reasonable price. Beef pho soup is quite plain (which is good for low sodium diet) but not as tasty. Spring rolls also very well done. Vietnamese coffee is decent. Worth the trip, I...
