Ngam Tau Shan（452m) — Attraction in Hong Kong

I recently went on a hiking trip to Sai Kung and stumbled upon the lesser-known peak of 岩頭山. Let me tell you, it was one of the best hikes I've had in a while!

At 452 meters high, it may not be as popular as some of the other peaks in the area, but that's precisely what made it so special. When I got to the top, there was not another soul in sight - just me and the stunning scenery all around me.

One of the things I loved most about this hike was the variety of foliage. From the top, I could see different colors and textures of leaves from the nearby peaks. It was like a beautiful patchwork of green and brown, all coming together to create a breathtaking view.

Overall, I'd highly recommend checking out 岩頭山 if you're in the Sai Kung area. It's not too difficult of a hike, and the payoff at the end is well worth it. 晴朗的假日，大家游兴很高。彩虹小巴站又大排长龙，连贵松松的96R都顶闸。结果巴士上坡的时候爬不动，只能龟速前进，令人恨不得下车去推它一把。 到达北潭凹，正是烈日当空。几名跑山者晒得乌黑乌黑，一阵风似地经过。自己则打伞拄杖，慢慢地走进麦径三段。初段还有林荫，过半山长凳后则完全暴晒。来到山顶，左边一个小山包就是牛耳石山。顺着明显小径走过去，山顶刚好有一片平地，立即大休。就着西贡的山海美景下饭，自是特别好味。只是伞总是被风吹翻。麦径上的两个青年，也发现了这个山头，本来已经过了路口，又回头走上来。他们竟然光着上身，背上脱皮都不怕，真是后生可畏。 告别青年下到麦径，斜对面有布条，引往岩头山。这边草较密，要翻过一个山包，约半小时到达标高柱，旁边有一块褪色的山名牌。这里可以同时望到赤径和土瓜坪两个码头。特别是土瓜坪，时值退潮，露出大片泥滩，就象一只张开两翼的燕子。 东向下山，至一片平坦草坡，小径向前即可接回麦径。草坡向北急斜而下，是一道隔火带。没有布条，也没有明显路径，可以随意而下，直至山坳的一条大横泥路。回望隔火带，大约有六、七十度斜，看起来颇为吓人，可称为阎王坡了，但走来还算轻松。不知是不是自己技术进步，也许可以去挑战阎王壁了？ 山坳是一个十字路口，还有一支电话指示标。北可上一风化山，东则接小径直下屋头，但看上去很密。于是走西向小径，也就是电话的方向，约二十分钟接入嶂上郊游径...
