All of Ocean Park is well tailored toward kids, but Whiskers Harbour meets visitor's traditional expectations of a space designed and dedicated for young people.
The best part of the Harbour is the playground with a giant multi-story castle next to it. It's a well-designed space for your youngsters to burn off energy and simply play. On a busy day, it can be a bit crowded, but for the most part, between the free rides and playground, there is enough space for all. It has a sloped scrambling wall and thoughtfully padded spaces to avoid bumps and scrapes.
Rides include carousel, train, a mini balloon-ferris wheel, and mini drop tower. There are some carnival-style games but they're an additional fee. There is a bouncy house but it seems to be perpetually closed for cleaning/sanitation.
Some downsides: food selection is weak. There is only one food kiosk and the selection is basic kid's fried food and miscellaneous amusement park fare: not very appealing. Read moreThe park and meerkats is great for kids. BUT don not to to whiskers fries. The food is absolutely disgusting. $118 for fried chicken, nuggets, chips etc. the friend chicken tastes as though it has sat out until cold then re fried to heat as well as the chips.
You can see the curry and Portuguese chicken in the hot pots, thick and been there for the whole day.
