南京夫子庙秦淮风光带 — Attraction in Nanjing City

Fuzimiao (夫子廟)area is fairly large with lots of food stalls, souvenirs, clothes and Nanjing memorabilia. Unfortunately it is very similar to other tourist areas in China, very commercially-oriented tourism. Prices can vary a lot between shops, so shop around before buying. There are few places to visit, eat at 南京大排檔(Nanjing Snacks), Confucius Temple (夫子廟), and eat some ducks (南京鹽水鴨/烤鴨）. Although it is a bit too commercial but still worth the visit. Lots of girls dressed in ancient dresses for photographs. Recommend to go for a late lunch around 2-3pm to avoid crowd, then walk around until early evening when the light turn on and leave before dinner, Crowd peak around 7-9pm.
