The Mandarin Garden Hotel, located near Jian Kang Road in Nanjing, provides a pleasant stay with a blend of modern amenities and traditional charm. Here’s a detailed look at the experience; The room was a good size, comfortably accommodating two people with lovely, stylish furniture. The bed was clean, fresh, and extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was clean and worked well, maintaining a comfortable room temperature. Room Amenities The room featured a fridge with a cooler and some drinks, a choice of tea and coffee, a kettle, and bottled water. Toiletries in the bathroom were nice, with reasonable quality towels that were white and looked like new. Clean dressing gowns were provided, adding to the comfort. Design and Functionality- However, there were some small design issues. The TV was difficult to operate, with the remote control in Chinese only and a poor choice of channels. Some furniture had small chips, but this was acceptable considering the overall comfort and cleanliness of the room. However design of furniture's are fantastic, Service- The response from the service team over the phone was fast and efficient. Cleaners were discreet and polite, maintaining the room's cleanliness without being intrusive. However, the concierge service was disappointing, as they had a poor approach and often pretended not to recognize hotel guests. -Facilities The hotel has three lifts that work fast and quietly, ensuring quick access to all floors. The fitness center, swimming pool, and spa provide additional relaxation and fitness options for guests. -Dining The dining experience was generally good, though it lacked some coordination between the reception desk and the restaurant. It would be better if the receptionist or assisting staff guided guests to their tables. The breakfast options were good, with quality food and a decent variety. However, a broader range of fresh fruits would be a welcome addition. Conclusion The Mandarin Garden Hotel offers a comfortable stay with good room amenities and efficient service. Despite minor issues with the TV and concierge service, the hotel's overall comfort, cleanliness, and location make it a solid choice for visitors to Nanjing. The dining experience could be improved with better coordination and a wider selection of fresh fruits, but the quality of food...

Read moreReally nice hotel in a great location. Hotel is huge by SEA standard, but not the international 5 star standard you would expect. Room is large and clean with street view. Location is great just next to Confucius Temple north gate and a lot of eating places nearby at night. Short walk to the canal and shopping centres. Breakfast selection is not bad for Chinese food but could be a little bit of a problem for Western visitors. All in all, enjoy my 2...
