Litian Hotel （West Gate） — Attraction in Qingdao

WOW WOW WOW! The location is perfect and easy to access using Metro Train as the nearest station is across the road. This is really handy because you can travel to a lot of key attractions in Qingdao.The reception is clean and a mix of modern and tradition design. We arrived at night so didn't take advantage of the free coffee.Check-in was really quick and simple, the staff are super friendly and helpful.The room was beyond my expectations, spacious and everything you need to relax and enjoy. But the balcony, if you can this is only room to book because the view day and night is unforgettable with the city lights before 10pm and the seaview sunrise in the morning. It truly is something special to be shared with your loved one.A small fruit bowl was there on arrival and every night you are provided with local like snacks. The shower head pressure was like a water massager - really relaxing with a dual handheld shower head available. They provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, shavers, and comb - I think I need to travel more!One cool highlight is that with one press of a button all the lights were off and curtains automatically closed.We opted for Buffet Breakfast which had a huge range of options but I warn you - manage your portion control. Location is excellent, with an exit to Metro Line 3 just outside the hotel, 2 mins walk away. The street behind the hotel also has lots of local eateries then there's a big mall just across the road. Room is a good size and I'm impressed that everything comes in a sanitized/disinfected sealed packaging, including all the towels! Gives a strong comfort on hygiene. The sockets are all universal, so no need for adaptors. It's also a smart room installed with Xiao Du AI with voice command capability. The shower water pressure is strong. Bed is firm and they've got both the firm foam pillow and soft ones to fit different preferences. The room also came with a free fruit platter and ample complimentary bottled water.||I also like that the room doors come with inspiring quotes. Each level has a washing machine and dryer and small microwave. The lobby is huge and staff are friendly and helpful. If I must find fault, it's probably in the security in the sense that the lift does not require key card access so anyone can just come up to the rooms.
