I was more amazed and exicted to visit this old Power station for his past and his architecture that the Contemporary art exhibition museum inside. It's a huge museum, with many levels + art rooms. It's well designed and you feel very small in there. They got a nice terrasse above, with a amazing view on Shanghai & as well the Hangpu River. I was expected much more concerning the art inside, I was kind of disappointing actually. Not my taste at all, but tastes are all differents, I've seem better Contemporary museums elsewhere in the World. I had seen a few pictures online and wanted to check it out. When I went in, I was surprised that you have to pay admission (it said online that admission is free). 7€ / 8$ later, I found myself in an exhibition that I didn't like and wanted to go up one floor. But to my surprise the upper floors where blocked off. In this huge building there was only one exhibit.
So yeah I paid €7/8$ for an exhibition that I didn't like :). Also the admission fee is quit a lot for one exhibit, if you ask me. I would have been fine paying that for the one i saw online but not...
