Worth popping in for a walk-through to see the interior of one of the nice Spanish-style homes in the former French concession area of Shanghai, where many Party cadre, intellectuals, and literati of modern China live or have lived. A pleasant stop. The residence tour completely skips over his purge and wife's subsequent death during the Cultural Revolution (no surprise). Free admission, open 10:00-16:30...
