Despite what the reviews say about Boxing Cat Brewery, I did not see an brewing onsite (in a garage or otherwise). I even asked the Boxing Cat waiters and the manager, but they all said that the brewing is done out in a factory over an hour away and brought to the Boxing Cat in kegs.
The food is hit or miss. The salad I had was not bad. I was not impressed by the wings, which we shared, or the fried sweet potatoes. I don't like fried sweet potatoes which are covered in sugar! I tried the gumbo, which I thought was a bit nasty. The burgers were average. Didn't have dessert.
