I obtained a fully intact DJI Mini SE kit excluding the aircraft as the original owner must have lost it.
After some really long and painful effort through DJI to obtain a replacement aircraft they just flat out refused. They would not sell me a replacement aircraft for a fully functional DJI Mini SE Fly More kit, unless I could provide a serial number - which was on the LOST aircraft. I can not provide something that is probably sitting at the bottom of the ocean or stuck in a tree or something.
My only resort was the secondary market which jacked up the price by $100 extra, comes from an unreputable source, and very closely rivals the original retail price of the unit anyways - completely defeating the purpose of buying just the aircraft.
I contacted DJI customer support, sales, technical support. They would not help me in anyway at all. The only option provided was to seek one on the secondary market. I do not want to pay $100 USD more for just the aircraft on the secondary market. So I am left with the only option to RETURN the controller, batteries, recharging station, cables, manuals, zip case and everything directly to the recycling center where hopefully some of the plastic and electronic components can be recycled.
This was horrible customer service and they did not care about me at all. They also did not seem to care about the e-waste and pollution created from the lost drone from its original owner, as well as the fact that my only option was the throw the whole accessory kit it came with including the controller...
