Shouxi Hu — Attraction in Yangzhou City

Honestly, from a local, since every free public city park in this city is modelled after the slender west lake 瘦西湖, you won’t miss much by skipping this one and just go to any free park nearby instead. We started from South Gate which is best option to take and exit from the North gate. The ticket fee is ¥100 but it's totally worth and you have to pay a bit for boat and electric car inside. It is a large, beautiful and well-maintained park. However it gets insanely crowded on the weekend and on public holidays so try to go on a weekday. I'm sure it's serene and calming when not mobbed with people (including the infamous Chinese tour groups, complete with tour guides blasting their voices over loudspeakers).
