Only gets a 4 stars due to the fact the municipality installed a few exercise equipment ignoring the number of people visiting the park on a daily basis(morning time) some individuals think they literally "own" the equipment and will not let you use it while they are resting and will frown upon you if show intentions to use it As far as maintenance goes the former mayor's office put their 5 cents in it plants get watered daily garbage picked up walking path are well lid for the early and late jogger/ walker Right on Barranquilla!!!! El Sagrado Corazón es un parque insigne de la ciudad de Barranquilla... Cariñosamente es conocido por el nombre del Santo Cachon, ya que anteriormente a su rediseño y restauración se reunían diversas parejas para tener su amorío a escondidas. Hoy, es un parque hermosisimo para ambiente Exclusivamente FAMILIAR y para actividades deportivas. Cuenta con grandes árboles frondosos para calmar la temperatura de la ciudad, grandiosas zonas verdes para realizar lecturas, descanso y picnic. Tiene alrededor de 33.000 metros cuadrados. Tiene zona adecuada para teatro, cancha de tennis, juegos infantiles y grandes espacios para la relajación en familia. Se encuentra custodiado por seguridad privada. Pero su entrada es totalmente libre. En la madrugada se ven muchos deportistas a su alrededor. Si necesitas un momento para respirar y equilibrar tus emociones, y puedes hacerlo, ven al parque. Es mi parque de mi niñez. Lo vi en ruinas... ahora se puede admirarar de su belleza. Está situado en el norte de Barranquilla, a su alrededor hay hoteles, restaurants de comidas rápidas, encontramos una Olímpica, panaderías, el club Comfamiliar de la caja de compensación, antes era el Club Alemán y la biblioteca pública Julio Hoenigsberg. Es una zona residencial. Trae tus patines, tu bicicleta, tu cesta de picnic o tu libro... O simplemente siéntate en una banqueta de parque a mirar lejos y agradecer que aun tienes...
