Córdoba — Attraction in Bogota, Capital District

This place was more hype than anything else. The raised trail is nowhere near the entrance. You have to walk ten minutes from the major bus station. When you find it, you can't get off the trail at all. It doesn't connect to the series of Parque de Lagos Cordoba that run along most of the length of it. And when you come to the end, there is a bolted gate with barbwire impeding you from continuing along the trail and you have to turn around and go back.

Highly suspect that the new development built along the trail has something to do with the impediments and razor wire that take away from the natural environment or interaction with the parks.

Give this trail a hard pass unless you are headed towards...

Ok here is the situation with this place. It is open all days including sundays. Not sure what time it is open from but it closes at 2pm I believe. You need to arrive at the centre, it will look very closed with chains on all the gates but wait for the guard to patrol and just yell at them and they will come over and let you in. It's an odd situation. There is also a guard inside the building but the most likely cant see you. It is just one way path on the board walk where you will get to the place in the photo then you have to turn. I'm a birder and there are a few bird species but nothing out of...

Es un lugar ecológico muy importante para el ecosistema de la capital. Hay aves, flores, árboles nativos. También hay cancha de tenis, basket Boal, espacio para picnic, espacios de juegos infantiles , bosque, senderos ,que hacen de este un gran lugar....deben dejar que sea 5 estrellas, las 5 estrellas que se merece el lugar, no es el humedal de Niza antigua ,ni de Bogotá,....todo lo ecológico pertenece al mundo, pertenece a nuestras futuras generaciones y solo nos ha tocado administrarlo, no todo lo moderno es malo, dejándolo tal cual, no lo estamos amando ,lo estamos destruyendo. A veces para salvar un pie hay que ponerle un metal e intervenirlo, así sea nuestro cuerpo y así no queramos: es la forma de amarlo así no sea el original. Debemos dejar que lo intervengan, que hagan senderos, que lo señalicen, solo así evitaremos el deterioro total. Monserrate no sería hoy lo que es ,si no lo hubiéramos intervenido...cuando un área urbana irrumpe en una ecológica, el daño ya está hecho y debemos protegerla , con normas, con senderos , con entradas, con puentes, con horarios, r.t.c. solo así evitaremos que haya mil senderos , que haya suciedad, porque cualquiera entra por cualquier parte. Me encanta este lugar... Esperemos un humedal con normas, senderos ..algo que sea para todos y de todos. Gracias. Pues bien ya hicieron el sendero , aunque no fue total, mejoró mucho, quedó bien, ya se nota la mejoría ecológica con tan solo meses de funcionamiento y siguen haciendo reparaciones.
