HOTEL LE SELECT — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

I honestly loved it here! I'm from Jamaica and very accustomed to beach front resorts and and the works and don't get me wrong, this hotel was nothing Iike any of those. But it was great at what it was. A great little place for us to rest. The rooms were comfortable (we had a suite) not sure if theyre all like that. Our rooms were cleaned daily. And the staff was very friendly. Even though we didn't speak perfect Spanish, they were patient and slowed things down for us. The street is clean and for the most part I think the area is safe.

Very clean and spacious botique type Hotel with large rooms and Suites- bathrooms just a little tight but all very clean. No elevator but just 3 stories high. English speaking is a little difficult but the hospitality and help from the staff more than compensated for the language barrier.||It was an excellent location to stay while visiting the Shaio Clinic.||A distance away from downtown Bogota (about COP 30 by Uber) but a very short walk to the Grocery and fruit markets. Pessimo Hotel, non merita neanche una stella. Prenotato per 4 notti, all'arrivo nella struttura dopo aver pagato l'intero soggiorno ci viene assegnata una camere nell'ultimo piano dell'hotel. Stanza grande con odore di chiuso, con polvere da tutte le parti, pulizia praticamente assente. Appena sistemati e pronti per fare una doccia, l'acqua calda non funzionava. Abbiamo chiamato il portiere la quale e venuto e dopo quasi un'ora per vedere di sistemare la cosa ci ha proposto di cambiare stanza però con un supplemento di 150.000 pesos Colombiani. Ho chiesto di restituirmi i soldi per cambiare hotel ma non ha voluto, alla fine ha accettato 50.000 pesos propostegli. Al terzo giorno di permanenza rientrati in hotel lo stesso portiere ci dice che se volevamo rimanere la quarta notte dovevamo pagarla perchè secondo lui avevamo pagato solo 3 notti. Cosa che ovviamente non abbiamo fatto. Sconsigliato vivamente. Ti attirano su Booking con prezzi vantaggiosi poi cercano di spillarti soldi...
