Coliseo El Pueblo is an indoor sporting arena located in Cali, Colombia. Opened in 1971 for the 1971 Pan American Games, the capacity of the arena was, before it became a 12,000-capacity all-seater, 18,000. It was designed by Colombian architect Pedro Enrique Richardson from the Richardson and Yusti studio.

We went there to compete in the Sudamerican gymnastics representing one of the 6 nations. It was raining outside as it was inside, no place to seat because all seats were wet and a the ceiling was leaking. The worst part at the time of selecting the winners, it was complete disorganized a d so much noise that no one know or what country was the winner. FIX THE ROOF AND BE MORE ORGANIZED NEXT TIME....

Tuve la oportunidad de estar en el evento del Petronio Alvarez el dia sabado 13 en la mañana y alcancé a almorzar... y domingo 14 desde las 3 pm hasta las 8 pm aproximadamente..
El lugar para ese evento es genial. Sentí espacio en El Quilombo, podian observar las exposiciones y sobre todo, caminar. No probé los baños. El restaurante, genial, el espació... Muy bueno... Caluroso, pero me pareció que se esforzaron en aprovechar los espacios.
Y los demás escenarios, quedaron bien donde los pusieron.
En el espacio de los eventos, aunque no estuve en los conciertos, creo que la gente la pasó bien. Mi familia llegó muy contenta y eso, que la asistencia reventaba el lugar.
El Coliseo es uno de los mejores lugares para eventos culturales, a mi forma de ver. Que se repitan más eventos ahi para aprovechar los lugares propios.
