The first time that I went, it was incredible, we had an excellent experience. The decoration is simply amazing, all the things that they used for decoration is weird but it's very original and unique. The whole atmosphere of the place, like the singing birthdays, welcoming foreigners, saying goodbye to locals, and music on the background is just fantastic. Totally recommend it for everyone. Just bare in mind is an expensive restaurant, but it is worth the visit and the experience. Both times we had this amazing thing that it's like made your own pizza. But the unique thing about it, its that instead of flour for the base, was made out of a big plantain with cheese...and on top of that you had means beef, ahogado (tomato and onion), pork crackling, cheese, red beans and Avocado. Absolutely delicious 🤤. However, the second time I went wit my husband and my friend from Australia. We got there at 6:45pm for our booking and everything was running smoothly. The thing was that since I made the booking I asked for the show for foreigners, and they wrote it down. But by the time that we were leaving at 9pm nothing happened and I just keep asking the waitress and she couldn't organise it. The waitress never gave us an smile, she never went and asked how everything was going, she was only talking with more of the staff and that was it. Everything seems to be a Hazzard for her so we try to ask other people for the answer.

Andrés DC is right in the middle of the “Zona Rosa” area of the city: all the big brands are around and the ambience is quite exclusive in the surrounding areas. That aside, once you get to Andrés DC you disconnect from that and enter a quite unique universe of music and color. Four floors, each with a different name, in ascending order: Infierno, Purgatorio, Tierra y Cielo (Hell, Purgatory, Earth and Heaven). Each floor has some unique decor and all of them hold a slightly different kind of party, but there is a party (and usually more than one) on each of them. It is not rare to have live music in various floors simultaneously. Andrés DC seems content to just let go of the traditional restaurant/club/bar setting and creates something that fuses all of those concepts and presents you with a very different proposal. The next part is obviously food: you will find every traditional Colombian dish and then some. The quality is amazing. All the traditional drinks are available too, but if you want the latest cocktail or wine, there are several bars and at least one specialized Wine Bar (in the Infierno floor). Make sure you make a reservation, otherwise you might not be able to get in. The place can probably hold 500 people easily, and during a weekday night it was packed tight, and there was a line to get in! If you visit Bogotá, this is a place you do not want to miss!

This is probably the most famous restaurant in Colombia. It is packed with chachkies and I guess that makes it famous. It is very large and interesting to see, but the food is just ok. We ordered the parilla, in which all of the "good" meats were overcooked and not every good. The chunchullo and morcilla were really good, as was the chicken. The beef and the ribs were rubbery and not very good. The service was terrible. The waitress made a mistake on the order and despite us trying to be very pleasant, she had an attitude that was almost unbelievable. In order to go to the restaurant you have to pay for the parking at the lot owned and run by the place. Basically don't waste your money. Might as well go to the Andres Carne de Res in Bogota and not waste your time going to Chia. Having been at the one in Bogota couple of times, I can tell you that it will be equally disappointing and highly overrated. For the price of eating overpriced and poorly prepared food at this place, you might as well enjoy one of the high end restaurants in Bogota. It will cost the same and you will get better food, service, and can avoid the long drive.

My first time at Andres was amazing! We danced the night away, food was great, service was good and ambiance was fabulous. My second time great too! Service was quick and food was delicious. Unfortunately my third visit which occured a couple of days after my second was terrible. On our last night of 16 day trip across Colombia I thought Andres would be the perfect place for our last meal before we took the red eye back home. To top it off there were lots of activities for the kids that day - seemed like a win win! After waiting 20-30 mins for table (which we were fine with), a couple of waitresses came to greet us, it was a busy day with their Enchanted Forest event going on for Halloween. We started off with asking for some bottled waters then proceeded with ordering the kids orders since my 10 month old was hungry, a few minutes later we were ready to order for the whole table. Water arrived, we asked for 4 only 1 was brought to us. Food was served all at different times, which defeated the purpose of having a meal as a family, by the time my aijiaco arrived it was warm at best. My 6 year old was still waiting at this point for his meal, so we all started to share from ours, eveyone at the table was done eating when my sons meal arrived. When I refused the meal for being 45 mins late, the waitress gave me attititude and told me rudely "I speak English" as I was asking my husband to translate what I was saying to her in Spanish. At this point were all quite irritated and disappointed with our experience, the waitress then offered us a gift to apologize, she brougt us shots of the equivalent of egg nog! That was her way of apologizing for all the issues we had. The whole point of my review is that I want the staff and owner to know how disappointing our experience was. I went from a very satisfied customer with great memories of the place to feeling robbed of a great last dinner in Bogota before heading back...

This is their main resturant that has been opened since 1984 so, I was hyped up since I've known and also was told by locals and tourist that this is the place to be. We went with a group of 15 people and they knew we was coming before hand. The atmosphere was cool but the service need some work. For being all hyped up I was disappointed in their service. Our server kept going to one corner of the table and checking up on them instead of being more personal and ask how was everyone was doing and instead of removing the dirty plates and replacing them with new ones and as well as the empty beer bottles/cup. She just kept everything in the same place until we had to ask to kindly remove the plate and replace it with new one. There should be at least two server per table for such a hyped up place to make the service where it suppose to be and if they knew before hand that a big group was coming they should've stepped it up from the get-go The food was wonderful tho. They had to Cook the meat a little longer tho but they did bring a hot plate to finish cooking the meat. The DJ should play a little bit of every type of music not just salsa. Several of us had to request the genere of the music to change it up. The DJ kindly played different genere.

The server came around with a paper about our opinion which I thought was a little strange due to seeing that for the first time, I was honest and the server apologized for the service given and took what I said to consideration and stepped up her game which I appreciated.

Over all the place was cool and it was a fun way to spend the night at one of the most hyped up...
