Museo Paleontológico — Attraction in Huila

Great little museum to learn about the region and Tatacoa desert. It is a very small museum charging $5000.00 COP per person. They offer a 3min video and a brief description of the history, artifacts and region. The tenant was very informative and eager to answer any and all of our questions. The museum does close in the afternoon from 12:00-14:00. It’s a nice little piece of history preserved in town. Es un museo pequeño donde te pueden dar una breve reseña de los fósiles y lo referente a lo que fue el desierto de la tatacoa. Es pequeño. El valor de entrada es de 2500 pesos, un precio bajo y justo. Considero que deben mejorarlo, embellecerlo, por que si se nota algo descuidado. Queda en la plaza principal de villa vieja donde encuentras artesanías y regalitos a buen precio para llevar. Ademas son muy amables en ofrecer información turística y contactos para paseos y Tours. Hacen buenas recomendaciones. Si vas con agencia si o si te llevan a verlo.
