Fincas VIP — Attraction in Medellín

My wife and I used this company to book a 30 people place. ( we have a big family) , Erika our main contact with Fincas VIP was rude and condescending.

When we rented this place called" Paraiso escondido" we where not told that you have to actually cross a river on foot( because the Finca) is in a spot where big cars such as minivans or a small buses can't go through. We were 27 people including 8 kids and my 6 month pregnant wife!. For me that was totally unacceptable. I wouldn't have rented this one if I knew that... anyway we got there after walking and crossing the river with all our belongings and food for 3 days on our backs. The person who takes care of the place did an inventory with my wife and I they even counted how many forks were in the kitchen ( seriously), then we proceeded to go upstairs to see the bedrooms and to our surprise the place was falling apart, it was dirty ( keep in mind that you will be charged a cleaning fee) and needed a lot of maintenance, there was a big black SCORPION in our bathtub, windows had wholes through which countless insects came into our room all night. We were told to keep our music down not to disturb other neighbors( guess what .... apparently that didn't apply to them) because they had loud music until 8 am. The day we were leaving the lady who did the inventory the first day came to do it again and we were charged for a table that was broken? In the pool area, we didn't sit on those tables at all but who knows. We tried contacting Erika via WhatsApp but she was not helpful and was very rude, she basically told us it is Friday call back on Monday. LOL.

Fincas VIP is the worst house rental agency in Medellin. Avoid them at all costs. Save yourself headaches and stress with dealing with their terrible customer service. They are scammers and thieves. Their customer service people will go as far as to block your number to not have to answer your questions. Rent from Air B&B, VRBO, which do have standards for customer service. FINCAS VIP have no standards. A lot of their fincas pictures are dated years out and are run down by the time one rents them. I travel all over the world and this is the worst company to deal with. My most recent experience with finca “rio místico” the pool filtration was not circulating and all the dirt, grime and previos renters gross bodily oils were still in the pool murky. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, the freezers did not work, the grounds keeper was very rude and did not tend to us when we called her to clean the pool. We booked two nights and it was the worst time ever. We are filing a report with the local authorities office and higher city officials. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH FINCAS VIP. Es una empresa que no vela por el bienestar y la satisfacción del cliente, alquilan fincas exageradamente costosas, y en muy mal estado, no verifican que las propiedades estén en buenas condiciones para poder disfrutarlas, las fotos en su mayoría no coinciden, el proceso de alquiler no fue fácil no son claros con los contratos de arrendamiento todo es a favor de ellos, no tienen un buen servicio al cliente, administrativamente no dan la cara cuando uno quiere hablar con ellos, (no responden los correos) son como escondidos y solo dejan a las empleadas solas solucionando todo, cuando ellas no tienen el poder de tomar decisiones, la finca que me arrendaron la nombran la roja, super costosa y era una finca mal tenida por sus dueños, no habían suficientes baños duchas, por un error de ellos (Fincas VIP) nos metieron a 25 personas en una finca que solo tenía 20 camas una de ellas doble, tenía dos baños y uno de ellos malo no le subía el agua, sillas con comején, otras rotas, los ventiladores no funcionaban bien, hay un jacuzzi con un kiosco que esta que se cae, y podría lastimar a alguien, la bomba de agua que limpia la piscina mala, el mayordomo porque se rebusco y solucionó el problema, un sauna malísimo, el piso malo tarjado que cualquiera se corta allí, y super costosa.
