Ok, you don't understand. I'm usually "tour averse" because I hate cookie cutter, boring tours, but this one... this one is like nothing you've experienced before, I guarantee you that. First of all, Javier is the funniest dude. His wit, jokes, and stories have you peeing your pants from laughter, and he makes 3 hours go by in a blink. Not only do you get to hear really cool history, but you also get to learn about authentic culture. His English is GREAT, and seeing how kindly he treats everyone in the town (he's like a celebrity there) and how much he loves what he does was the highlight. Must visit as soon as you get to the city, with tours twice a day it's so convenient. It feels like when someone you know says "hey I have a friend that will show you all the best places." It's a great orientation of the city so you get the best safety tips, what to eat, what NOT to eat and anything else you want to know. Very cool guide. As we had been only 3 English speaking people in a group of like 10, Javier first managed to explain everything in both languages after each other, which needs a lot of breath. 😄 His colleague joined 20 minutes later to give a better experience for everyone (one doing the tour in English and one in spanish).
