Simple, beautiful and safer tha other downtown areas. It's still a place you should look out for your security, like most of Bogot'as the downtown area. It doesn't have a particular fountain or sculpture in the middle of the plaza, which I find particular for a South American main square, but the old buildings are nice and very historic. Although it feels like it has seen better times, this square is still a nice place to visit when in Zipaquirá. It is in a great location, and also surrounded by nice restaurants and coffe shops.
