We stayed at Hotel Estacion Sabana after deciding to spend a night in Zipaquirá after visiting the Salt Cathedral and mines, which is more than likely what brings you to Zipa if you are a passing tourist. The hotel provided great value for money, the double room we stayed in had a massive and extremely comfortable kingsize bed, a nice large shower with plenty of hot water and all usual mod cons. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful with any questions we had. A major bonus was the option to have breakfast brought to your room at no extra price, although the breakfast itself was basic. If you are looking to stop over in Zipaquirá for a night as part of your visit to the Salt Cathedral, it is quite a nice town to spend a day in, and Hotel Estacion Sabana is a fine place to stay if you choose to do so.
