I called before reserving asking if it was a good place for a senior since my grandma struggles with stairs and the lady told me it was a short walk of cement. There were stairs all over and my mom had a bad time moving through the place. The elevator wouldn’t get us where we needed to be. And the coffee is expensive and didn’t taste as the regular Starbucks. I asked for cinnamon since all Starbucks have a little stand with cinnamon, chocolate etc but they wanted to charge me for a SPRINKLE of cinnamon. The tour guide was knowledgeable and everything but the administration of the place is poor...

This place is unique. Fascinating, full of history and just inviting to linger and relax.

Those booking a tour here will get their money's worth for the $ 30: every half hour, a 90-minute journey through the life of a coffee bean starts. Starting from the cultivation to the coffee tasting at the end. Everything close up. Incidentally, Starbucks of course gives some self-promotion regarding Sustainable Management and Ecological Conscience.

The overall concept is right. We take home many positive memories and will never forget our personal VIP guide...

Great comical experience, the best coffee in the world, and starbucks yet again ruined it. The shittiest coffee i had in costa rica, or maybe ever. Since its starbucks - it is unsurprising to say the least. As anticipated. Having said that - Great place, friendly staff, wonderfull view. Worth stopping on the way.
