Central Park Escazu — Attraction in San Rafael

Great park in the middle of authentic town stores. Area for small children to play, desperate area for older children to play (being renovated during my visit Aug. 2025) and a few different work out zones for adults. Situated next to a church, school and a few restaurants and markets where you could get picnic food or drinks.

Parking is very limited but if you park anywhere in the shopping area you find most roads have a sidewalk at least...

Very run down. They are rebuilding it, but the lack of maintenance is evident. It has, for example an old stage in which the steps have fallen off and the screws are still sticking out. Quite unacceptable for a local government that has a multi-million...

What a lovely park, obviously a popular AND well-used center for the Escazú community. I have been to the park many times in the past but it recently received a beautiful-"face-lifting." Check out the photos with new facilities...
