Brestovac Sanatorium — Attraction in City of Zagreb

Very nice place and I recommend looking at its history before going there. By looking up its history, you can immerse yourself into it completely. You can still see the architecture which represented that period of time; curved walls, bathroom tiles, blue doorframes, high ceiling, big windows etc. It's great that you can chill there for a bit and it's not ruined by trash or too much graffities: it's important we keep it that way!! The Brestovac Sanatorium is located on the beautiful mountain Medvednica, and a hike through the forest can be a nice way to get to the sanatorium but there is also a road which leads to it if you want to go by car or bike. It is an interesting place to visit. It is also difficult to believe that such a huge building is located (and built) so far away from the city. Before going there do acquaint yourself with the story, since it makes the visot more colorful. Also I would not go inside the building (even thou I have seen people inside) due to old age and fear of collapsing.
