The Dead Sea in Lokrum, Croatia is a popular tourist destination known for its unique natural beauty and therapeutic properties. Located just a short ferry ride from the city of Dubrovnik, the Dead Sea is a popular spot for visitors looking to experience the region's crystal clear waters and stunning coastline.

However, like many other tourist destinations around the world, the Dead Sea in Lokrum has been impacted by the economic recession caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Travel restrictions and lockdowns have greatly reduced the number of tourists coming to the area, leading to financial struggles for the businesses and attractions in the region.

Despite the challenges posed by the recession, the Dead Sea in Lokrum remains a popular destination for those looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of this unique location. As the global economy recovers and travel restrictions ease, the Dead Sea is well-positioned to bounce back and continue to attract visitors from...

It's a beautiful place, especially on a sunny day. The water was a bit cold but did not stop me from swimming in. The place is rocky, so make sure to bring slippers or water shoes along. The water is shallow so I wouldn't recommend jumping from a height. We were lying on the rocky surface, would be good with some beach bed rather than just towels if you plan to stay longer. It is my favourite place on the Lokrum island, we went there and spent almost 4 hours just swimming and lying around. So bad, we had to leave before the last boat leaves at 6pm. Definitely recommended but beware of slippery rocks, saw 3 people slipping in water while clicking pics. There are many peacocks around and will be coming near you if you are eating something. Not so many crabs as on other rocky beaches but you could still suddenly come across them from...

The name is missleading since it is not dead, water comes undeground to the island im this lagoon,

it's a great stop off during the day to cool down in the calm water. get a towel it is a good place to swim and a half a day exit from the main city but it will be busy during season. a lot of history on this island which was a monastery and even king Richard the lion heart passed by. you take the boat from peer of Dubrovnik town and it takes 10 m max to reach the island.

Rating criteria: boat Service 5* Smoking 5* Price 5* Friendly employees 5* Atmosphere 5* Near Center of town 5* Kids...
