Visiting Lokrum Island solely revolved around sitting on the Iron Throne. Once you get off of the boat that has set sail from the Old Port Harbour, you'll be greeted by a short walk to the Tourist Center in the middle of the island. The Throne is a sight to behold, but of course, do expect to be met with vast queues of fans also wanting to sit on this replica Throne.

Once you enter the building, you have the opportunity of learning about Game of Thrones and the filming locations used in Croatia. There is plenty of information on offer for you to brush up on your GoT knowledge whilst waiting for your opportunity to rule the 7 Kingdoms.

Pros: Great photo opportunity for you Lots to learn about the show whilst you wait. The island also hosts many spectacular sights and creatures that you may not have expected.

Cons: Lengthy queues unless you get the first boat out to Lokrum Due to queues, you almost feel rushed when getting photos Lots of people around at...

It’s cool for what it is, but heads up- this is just a replica throne made of fiberglass. And it’s probably time for them to replace it or at least rehab it as the paint is starting to wear off. But if you aren’t expecting to sit on the same throne as the Targaryens, and enjoy reading about the filming process, it’s worth the short amount of time it takes to visit...
