Strand Mekićevica — Attraction in Grad Hvar

A really nice small beach, few people, a long walk from Hvar, but worth it! Wear comfortable shoes, bring lots of water and try to get there early ish so that you can seek shade under the big tree over rocks on the right hand side - you will have your own “private” entrance to the sea and some flat surface to lie/sit down on. You can park at Pokonji Dol Beach and from there it's a 15-minute walk through a sweet-smelling pine forest. It's an easy walk but on a hot day be sure to bring enough water. This is one of the best beaches I visited at Hvar. To get there, you can park car at Pokonji dol, and then you have to walk for 15 kinutes through the woods, but it is definitely worth it.
