Amazing beach with clear blue/turquoise water, it’s definitely a beach that needs to be on your list… however:
Do not get the sunbeds. We did get them, but looking back it wasn’t worth it, 50€ for 2 beds and one umbrella, sunbeds that are super old and rusty and they do not offer anything extra for this amount. For example in Lefkada, Copla Beach bar that is amazing offers 2 sunbeds, 1 bottle of water, 2 big towels and a deposit box that is opened by a bracelet for 30€. You have to pay 50cents to use the shower. I didn’t see this in any of the beaches I’ve been to, not even at Radison in Split. It’s not a hug amount, it’s the idea to pay for something that you shouldn’t when you are already paying for the sunbeds. The beach is not that clean, the sunbeds are super close to each other that you almost hug the tourists next to you.
After they switched to euro and joined Schengen space, they became greedy, tripling the prices for everything.
If you plan to come here, get yourself your own towels to lie down on, an umbrella and enjoy the clear...
Read moreThere was nothing good at this place except a view overlooking a lighthouse on the island in the middle of the bay. Parasols are old and rusty, deckchairs are situated just one next to another, so there is absolutely no privacy, I will not start writing about the price for renting them, because it is rediculously high for what they have offer. Staff is rude, restaurants next to the beach have overpriced food, portions are so small that do not feed a child. We paid 17€ for 3 small grilled calamari. Seriously. Croatia needs to get it's stuff together because it's defacto too expensive for what it offers. Not sure if these people / staff are underpaid but they certainly aren't suitable to work in tourism. Take it up with your bosses and ask for a better wage, don't go unwinding on tourists who feed your mouths and enable you to sit around the beach all day, acting rude and whining and making sexsist comments on butts of Italian tourist girls....
Read moreThe beach is nice with clear water and a really nice view of a small island with a light house. The beach is mostly bigger pebbles with some big ones, not much space, and doesn't have a blue flag. Meaning not much facilities. There is two small restaurants. The beach is mostly covered by empty sun beds which is illegal to do if there's no customers using them. The price was extremely expensive, 20€ per bed & 10€ sunbrella, coming up to 50€ for a full set. For a beech that doesn't have a blue flag and it's just close to Hvar is disgracefully expensive. Only stupid people would pay that. In Malaga, Spain with a blue flag beach with all contents and facilities available the price for a set was 20€ max for the best place possible. This beach an nature is beautiful but it's overpriced. Just to compare, a full day boat excursion from Hvar to Vis, 5 places to visit, with...
