Beautiful location. You can see the western part of the city from there and have access to the sea. I liked it there, the whole Šibenik was spectacular and with the beach there is a place for town dwellers and tourists to have a swim. There is a bar however, which often pollutes the area with techno/dance music. They blasted their music today, on the Sunday morning at 10am blending their techno with the sound of bells from the medieval churches. Of course we all have our own preferences, but it didn’t feel right to me. It may suit some modern resort, maybe beaches of, say, Ibiza, but to me it didn’t fit the style of the rest of this historic city. I would like the beachfront to be more, I don’t know, dignified, and the club just turns it into a noisy place to have drinks. This is the only reason for 4 stars...

Worlds above Jadrija beach in my opinion, and easy to overlook thinking you should be heading to other islands for a beach day.

There's a restaurant, so you've got clean bathrooms, changing rooms, food, coffee and water. And the American (?) member of staff is lovely and very helpful.

We went in early September, and there weren't too many people there so it was perfect. No sea urchins, but water is pretty rocky. You can rent beach beds for €8-10 euros a day, which is a bit steep but they offered room to barter, especially if you're purchasing multiple things.

The aqua park was €10 for an hour which I found reasonable. Though admittedly there isn't too much to do on it. But the main issue is the barnacles underneath/ on the edges. We both got cut up and ended up with legs...

Type: "Prilaz tvornici 35 parking" to get to a big parking area right above the beach. It's one of most affordable ones, 5 euros for a daily ticket. Banj is only few minutes away, walking distance.

The sea here is specific because its mixed with water from a river, but still good for a city refreshment and daily fun.

There is a big public toilet, pretty clean and no charge, basketball and volleyball courts, outdoor gym, children water fun park and a cafe with some food options and reasonable prices (chicken tortilla and fries 10 euros, burger and fries 14 euros, beer 3 euros, coffee 2.20 euros).

Important: there is almost no shade at the beach. Secure something yourself.

Dogs are only allowed on the leash and not...
