Cvitačka plaža is a fantastic beach, especially if you're with kids or just want a convenient, fun day by the sea. The pebble beach is well-kept, and the water is shallow and calm for a long way out, making it super safe for little ones to splash around.

The atmosphere is lively and there are some great beach bars where you can grab a drink or a bite to eat. It's easy to get to, with plenty of parking nearby, and it’s well-equipped with showers and changing cabins. This beach has everything you need for a no-stress day of sun and swimming....

The best beach in Makarska. Totally worth the walk if your apartments are in the city. Try to get there as early as possible to grab your spot in the small coves. Not a lot of place for many people and it only gets "crowded" after 13:00 so if you get there early in the morning you will enjoy peace and quiet. Another plus is that there aren't any of those ugly inflatable floating playgrounds for children that...
