Poseidon Mobile Home Resort — Hotel in Grad Makarska

We got a good deal, and was even moved to one of the mobile homes with the best sea view. We had unobstructed view to the sea. The place came with a nice swimming pool and complimentary sun beds. Staff was in general helpful, and gave us free drinks upon arrival. There are two tennis courts in front of the mobile homes, with activity almost every day, esp. in the morning. Walking to the beach takes about 3 minutes, and if you get there early, you will reserve a nice spot. But if you want true peace and tranquility, try to walk on the wooden path along the coast line, and you might find your own little heaven on earth! The sea is very clear! Look up for sea urchins, wear bathing shoes, or you might get stung! In general the area seems to be safe, no beggars or alcholics on the streets. Restaurants are very close by, only a short walk. Wifi is present, but was unfortunately disconnected halfway through our stay, with no resolution, despite querying the reception about the issue. Quite strong winds some of the days, which affected the mobile homes significantly. Inside the homes, there is a small kitchen, so you can prepare food. Also two bath rooms with WC and shower, a small living room, and two sleeping rooms. It is not spacious, but being near the beach, you will not spend most of your time inside. This is a good selection for the upper ranger budget traveller. The sea view alone was worth the cost! There is a fruit stand close to the premises, although a bit overpriced. This is destination for beach life, so expect people walking around in minimal clothing, once you venture into the wooden path through the woods, you will also get to the naturist beaches and the dog beaches. Staying at the Poseidon mobile homes resort in Makarska feels like coming back to my second home every time I visit. From the moment I arrive, I am always welcomed with warmth and hospitality that truly sets this place apart. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make sure every stay is perfect.

The mobile homes themselves are modern, clean, and extremely comfortable. They are thoughtfully designed to provide all the comforts of home, with fully equipped kitchens, cozy living areas, and comfortable beds that guarantee a good night's sleep. Waking up to the stunning sea views and the sound of waves is a delight that never gets old.

The resort’s location is unbeatable. Nestled close to the beach, it’s just a short stroll from crystal clear waters and beautiful pebble shores. The surrounding nature and the breathtaking views of the Biokovo mountain range provide a serene backdrop that is perfect for relaxation and unwinding. Whether I’m lounging by the pool, exploring the scenic walking trails, or enjoying a meal at the on-site restaurant, I always find myself feeling completely at peace.

I can’t recommend this mobile home resort enough for anyone looking for a getaway that feels like a home away from home. It’s a place where we as a family create lasting memories, and we look forward to returning...

We have been here in July 2021. Spent here 5 nights one of the mobile homes. It was amazing! The resort is demanding, beautiful, clean, arranged with a nice pool, bar and restaurant. The waiters are polite, highly qualified. The mobile home itself is clean, well equipped, net on windows, many windows, curtains, fridge with a freezer, hotplate, dishwasher machine, well equpiied kitchen corner, two bathrooms, two rooms, and a beautiful terrace with nice chairs, sunbeds and table. The resort is about 2 minute walk from the nearest beach! (Buba Beach Bar is just 2 minutes also) The port is a bit farer, about 15 minutes but through an alley beside the sea.
