This hotel is exceptional, From the moment we arrived until the very end. Mainly down to the absolutely phenomenal staff friendliness from The lovely manager Andela and her amazing team! They are completely attentive and helpful in every way possible making our stay somewhat special. They can’t do enough for you!
The Hotel is absolutely spotless, clean and tidy but you rarely see the cleaner. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathrooms are lovely. Rooms AC is good, smart TV’s, Nice balcony’s and massive super king beds with the softest pillows. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed upon request or as standard. There’s a fridge mini bar in the room.
The roof top pool is just lovely too, it over looks the sea and the back drop is the mountains, very picturesque. The bar is next to the pool on the roof and The young bar tender is brilliant just like all the other friendly staff!
Now for the good bit, almost my favourite part was the breakfast spread!!! I’ve stayed in many nice hotels but this breakfast spread was amazing, catering for every taste requirement there is. It was so vast with food that I was positively overwhelmed with food excitement. They had everything, to name a few, All cereals, granola, pastries, toasts and toppings. More fruits than at a Greek goddesses banquette. A hot counter of your more English breaky, scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, peppers and so on.. Smoked salmon, anchovies, cold cheeses and meats. The food went on and on, it was all delicious! Coffee machine was of an excellent standard. 5 different juices everyday plus cava on tap every morning 🥂 11/10 for the breakfast.
We would like to say a massive Thank you to Andela and her team for making our stay At the Mirjam absolutely...
Read moreThis was a lovely hotel with very attentive staff. The hotel is situated on the edge of the town. ||Highlights-|-parking (very handy as parking in the town is difficult)|- breakfast was lovely and fresh|- pool - rooftop views plus its open into the evening which means you can have a refreshing swim in the dark which is great!||Unfortunately the air con was not cold enough for us as it only went to a certain temperature and we found we got hot during the night as it randomly turned off a couple of times . Staff did provide a fan and did their best to adjust the settings. ||It was a good 15 min walk to the restaurants which did get a bit tiring every night (20ish mins to port). However being further out had the advantage of the parking and there are closer restaurants so you don’t actually have to walk in every night. ||There is a beach outside the hotel but after a recommendation from the lovely chap who did the sport massage we took a right and walked away from the town centre and found the most beautiful beaches, far quieter and more stunning that those to the left. If only we had known to go in that direction from day one! Definitely go right!!! Walk away from the main town past the Aminess Khalini. Type Ramova Beach into Google maps you won’t regret it! So even though this hotel is a bit of a walk from the centre the beaches further down are well worth it. ||Makarska is the one of the most beautiful parts of Croatia, don’t hesitate to book this area. There are numerous boat trips that leave from the port they all do the same route to Hvar then Brac Zlatni Rat beach - the most beautiful beach definitely worth a day trip. We also did the biokovo view point and day...
Read moreWhere do I start? We arrived and were greeted by the most helpful staff ever. My mum had dropped red wine on her white jacket and the receptionist took it from her and said she would see what she could do, 2 days later it was dropped back dry cleaned spotless free of charge. Got to our beautiful room there was a bottle of Prosecco waiting on us as my sister had let them know it was my 40th birthday. The rooms are beautiful spacious rooms. The only fault with the room was there was 3 adults sharing the room and the fold out bed was tiny and extremely hard they should really replace it with a proper single bed as the rooms have plenty of space. We did ask for this and it was replaced by another tiny fold out bed but it was softer than the 1st. The breakfast is fantastic the choices were unreal all so fresh & tasty. The rooftop pool area feels so luxurious with cabanas and fresh towels whenever you want. I do wish they sold food up there so you didn’t need to leave. Within our stay there was another bottle of Prosecco delivered to our room free of charge and when we were leaving we had an extremely early flight so they had made us up some breakfast hampers to take with us all free of charge. When we left my sister noticed she had left her sunglasses in reception she called them and they were posted to her house free of charge! All in all this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. It should be 5*. Can’t wait...
