Youth pedestrian bridge — Attraction in Grad Osijek

Beauriful bridge acrose river Drava in city of Osijek. For an even better experience, I recommend a walk in the evening when the bridge is lit. The bridge is very popular with young couples because it provides a romantic atmosphere and a walk along the Drava River. I was especially impressed by the view from the bridge on the river and the city. Near the bridge on the left side of the river there is a beach on the river, a cafe bars and other various recreational forms of entertainment such as running tracks, cycling track and a skate park known for holding events such as Pannonia Challange. On the right side of the coast there is a professional race track with a soft surface, and a restaurant located on the boat. Next to the promenade there are numerous benches for rest which are sheltered in the shade of trees. Also, there is an old fortress nearby which I definitely suggest to visit. Pedestrian bridge is one of the most famous and beautiful symbols of the city. It also has a unique appearance throughout Croatia. It is 35 meters high. the bridge was built in 1981 but it was damaged during the Homeland War. In 1993 it underwent renovation, and a new major renovation took place in 2007, when a new walkway (new asphalt) was laid, slab joints were restored, the fence was painted, and the lighting was replaced...
