Ora chiamata Rijeka in croato.

Museum was nice, but entrance fee of almost €8 was a bit too much considering it's in Croatia where people don't earn as much as in other European countries. Considering that, I think I was the only one walking through the museum. I think I saw another lady on the first floor. There are two floors to be explored and it's interesting to go through the rooms. Some of them contain pieces of art, some of them various objects from rich Rijeka's history. All in all... It's an okay museum - worth the visit if you have spare...

The kids and I had an amazing time in the museum. It does not have the biggest exhibition but it is one of the most interactive museums that I have ever been in. the kids had a blast. If you have preschool or school children than this museum is a must. There is so much for them to do and try out. The only thing that needs fixing (and i forgot to mention this to the staff when we were leaving) are the stamps with glagoljica letters as a lot of them are no longer...

A somewhat jumbled and mostly uncritical tour of the region's history, full of magnificent exhibits and well developed interactive stations. The Klimt paintings (temporary exhibition) are very inspiring! It was a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon with the kids, stopping afterwards at the childhood centre across the Art Kvart for a hot chocolate afterwards. My only regret is that they don't sell postcards or other memorabilia of the exhibition.
