Azura was unfortunately a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, the view was already underwhelming: instead of a cozy or panoramic setting, we were looking at a messy street with lots of noise and traffic. Things didn’t improve inside. The staff barely spoke English, which could have been manageable if there had been any form of interaction at all. We were completely ignored. No greeting, no explanation, no menu – nothing. We wanted to have a bite to eat, but due to the total lack of attention, we never even got the chance to order. Even the drinks we eventually tried to get at the bar couldn’t be paid for – there was simply no one available to speak to. We've never felt so unwelcome in a hospitality venue. Azura presents itself as a bar, club, and restaurant, but fails on all fronts. No service, no hospitality, no atmosphere. A wasted evening and certainly not a place we’ll ever return to. Strongly not recommended
But if youre in need of a free public toilet in the centre of Reijka, the toilet is easy to access because the waiters wil...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to after visiting Azura. Simply put, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
The food was incredibly bland—completely lacking flavor or any real effort. Honestly, my friend who has zero cooking experience could’ve done better at home. For the price they’re charging, it’s borderline insulting. It felt like they were trying to pass off cheap, cafeteria-level food as upscale cuisine.
To make things worse, the service was just as bad. Our waiter seemed annoyed from the moment we sat down, barely said a word, and had the same dismissive attitude toward the table next to us. Not a good look at all.
And the drinks? Served in plastic cups. Really? For the prices on that menu, the least they could do is use actual glassware.
I’d recommend avoiding Azura unless you enjoy overpriced, flavorless food and poor service. There are so many better...
Sretno s poslovanjem Azura was, unfortunately, a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, the view was already underwhelming: instead of a cozy or panoramic setting, we were looking at a messy street full of noise and traffic. It didn’t get any better inside. The staff barely spoke English—understandable to a degree, but there was no attempt at any interaction at all. We were completely ignored. No greeting, no explanation, no menu.
We wanted to get something to eat, but due to the total lack of attention, we never even had the chance to order. Even the drinks we tried to get ourselves at the bar couldn’t be paid for—there was simply no one to talk to. We’ve never felt so unwelcome at a hospitality venue.
Azura presents itself as a bar, club, and restaurant, but fails on every level. No service, no hospitality, no atmosphere. Not even close to being club- or lounge-worthy, and I seriously question the legality of this place. Thankfully, we still had food in the fridge on our yacht, which saved the evening somewhat.
Tip: there’s a free public toilet in the center of Rijeka—that turned out to be more useful than this place.
A wasted evening. Definitely not a place we’ll ever return to. Not recommended. Good luck with...
